This study explores the intricate relationship between Information Technology (IT) mindfulness, technostress, and employee well-being. IT mindfulness refers to an individual’s conscious awareness and attention in using technology. The research identifies technostress as a significant mediator that can negatively impact employee well-being. Through quantitative analysis, the study demonstrates that higher levels of IT mindfulness are associated with reduced technostress, which in turn enhances overall well-being among employees.

The findings suggest that employees who practice IT mindfulness are better equipped to manage the challenges posed by constant technological changes and demands in the workplace. By being more aware and deliberate in their interactions with technology, these individuals experience lower levels of stress related to technology use. This reduction in technostress contributes positively to their mental health, job satisfaction, and overall work performance.

The study concludes that fostering IT mindfulness within organizational cultures can be a strategic approach to mitigating the adverse effects of technostress. By implementing training programs and promoting mindful use of technology, organizations can enhance employee well-being and productivity. This research underscores the importance of addressing the psychological impacts of technology in the workplace and offers practical solutions for organizations aiming to support their employees in the digital age.
