Aim and Scope
Behavioral Science Research Institute (BSRI), Srinakarinwirot University, Bangkok, Thailand has published The Journal of Behavioral Science (English Edition) since 2006. This is a peer reviewed journal, and is published in cooperation with an academic network of domestic and international universities, such as Massey University, New Zealand; Murdoch University, Australia; Ochanomizu University, Japan; International Islamic University Malaysia, Malaysia; ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, Thailand.
The main aim of the journal is to disseminate behavioral-science academic papers at national and international levels. Behavioral Science Research Institute foresees the importance of this scientific discipline, which seeks explanations of diverse individual, organization, and social phenomena by relying on interdisciplinary approach from various fields, e.g. psychology, sociology, education, political science, economics, and statistics and by integration of various research methodologies – quantitative and qualitative.
Contents of The Journal of Behavioral Science would focus on individual behaviors, with elucidation of various factors- individual and situational; as well as knowledge training programs, training programs to develop desirable traits/characteristics, and training programs to develop various skills in the context of family, community, organization, and society.
Behavioral Science Research Institute strongly hopes that this Journal would provide a forum that expands into the wide international academic circle for the progress of Behavioral Science discipline, which is fast becoming the key for a holistic development at an individual, family, society, and nation levels.
